Universal Extends Agreement with Contax

Contax to Provide Servicing and Parts in UK and Ireland

Production automation system specialist, Contax Ltd, and the world leading surface mount supplier, Universal Instruments, have extended their Partnership Agreement announced in February 2007. From 17 November, Contax will now be responsible for all servicing and spare parts for Universal’s products throughout the UK and Ireland.

As a result, Contax will be augmenting its service department with dedicated Universal engineers, as well as providing additional training for their existing support team.

Universal have acquired an excellent reputation worldwide for their level of service to customers. As part of this, they have always maintained an extensive range of spares to ensure that any downtime is minimised. Contax is dedicated to continuing this exemplary service to its new customers. According to Ray Doherty, Area Sales Manager at Universal Instruments, Contax is the only UK supplier with the infrastructure and the technical knowledge to be able to make this commitment.
