Contax Supports National Electronics Week
Contax Ltd - UK
08 February 2008
Production automation system specialist, Contax Ltd, confirms its support for the new industry exhibition, National Electronics Week. Contax will be taking two stands at the Show: E70 and E71, which will be taking place on 17-19 June 2008 at Earls Court 2.
Commenting, Mike Rapson, Managing Director at Contax Ltd said, “We are delighted to support this dynamic new venture. We were initially attracted to the exhibition because of its unique approach. For example, the Show will have two fully functional assembly lines running in parallel, so that visitors can see and compare the production systems in action. This is a completely new concept in the UK, and one that we believe will work extremely well.
“We will have a couple of systems running on one line, so that our visitors can see the machines in action – and compare them directly with equipment running on the other line. A team of experts will also be available to help with the analysis of results. This will enable prospective buyers to make a much more informed choice,” he said.
National Electronics Week is the brainchild of Event Director, Claire Jeffreys. She explained, “We wanted to do something different. By bringing together all the areas of electronic manufacturing – from design and components through to production and distribution - we believe we can offer something for everyone. This is backed up with an extensive series of seminars and exhibitor stands from leading suppliers, such as Contax.
“Also, we know how exhausting exhibitions can be for the visitors. We wanted to make it a more enjoyable experience by creating a central relaxation area, where they can sit down with a coffee in between their seminar and stand visits.”
These new themes have certainly encouraged the support of Contax. “We think this an excellent approach,” said Mike Rapson. “We believe that the combination of new concepts and the central London location will be a winning formula. It will appeal to visitors and offer exhibitors an effective platform from which to demonstrate their systems. We very much look forward to participating in National Electronics Week in June,” he concluded.
