The pcba|inspector is a high resolution X-ray system dedicated to the inspection of printed circuit board assemblies.

Offering a large scanning area with high magnification. Easy operation is achieved as the integrated noise suppression system and high resolution image chain are supplied as standard.

The application often incorporates the production control of standard SMT and PTH solder joints (also fine pitch), solder joints of area array packages such as BGA, CSP and Flip Chip. Capabilities include the detection of short circuits, missing solder connections, variations in shape and diameter of solder joints, solder voids, solder wetting defects and in addition incoming inspection of multi-layer-PCBs.
