The WL 2001 LY forms part of the Rommel YAG Laser marking-station portfolio. This includes the DES 2001LY a lower cost option and the WL2001 LYX which offers the greatest capability producing a 3mm x 3mm 2D code in 0.4 second . The WL2001 LY is an intelligent high end laser marking system used for marking PCB's in a SMD line, its robust design lends it to extended use. The YAG Laser removes the solder resist down to the first copper layer, this provides an excellent contrast for future reading. Real time reading of the mark adjacent to the head ensures a high quality result. The WL 2001 LY Yag laser system is supplied with an integral exhaust adjacent to the marking head.
