The Rommel DES 2001 LCT is a flexible mid range in line combined label and CO2 laser marking system with Thermo-Transfer Printer. The rugged quality of the DES 2001 LCT makes it most suited for extended operation in a SMD line. It is possible to laser mark and place a label on the same PCB. The CO2 laser will discolour the solder resist producing a good permanent contrast for future reading. Gas exhaust forms part of the standard system, located adjacent to the marking position makes it most effective. The optional scanning system enables the marks to be assessed in real time to ensure quality is maintained.
