The dps 272 coiler has a dual-drum system, which makes it the optimum device for coiling wires quickly. The dual-drum design gives the dps 272 coiler its speed. While one wire is being removed from one drum, another is being simultaneously wound in a second drum. A sliding cover automatically shields the rotating drum. The dps 261 binder can then be used to bind the wire coils.

The dps 272 coiler is combinable with the Kappa 220, Kappa 225, Kappa 235 and Kappa 240 stripping machines. With synchronised wire speed and optimised transport processes, the wire being coiled is wound gently into wire coils with a maximum diameter of 400 mm. Coiling of manually fed wire is available as an option.
