The Zeta 655 is a bolt-on Zeta 633 extension module for fully automatic double ended block loading of wires in to their connector housing. With a sophisticated vision centring system and an ingenious intermediate wire holding station, the Zeta 655 can fully automatically insert crimped wires in to their respective housing to produce virtually complete harnesses or harness sub-assemblies. Insertion time is typically faster than measuring cutting and stripping, making the Zeta 655 just as fast as a standalone Zeta 633. With advanced features such as ‘latch-in’ detection harnesses can be produced ready for onward manual processes such as taping, but with all quality critical processes having been completed fully automatically. Connector housings can be mounted in removable palettes allowing for extremely fast job changeover although customised options are available to suit different applications.
