The ProEff Airstream concept is a modular system that can be configured for many applications. In a simple form an Airstream system could put a grommet onto a cable in a set position automatically. A more complex system could take wire from a reel, cut it to length and strip the insulation, put several grommets and clamps into place along the cable and check the position of these parts.

The basic Airstream concept is that a wire can be inserted through a grommet, by means of compressed air and precision made forms to hold and expand the grommet. As the Airstream concept is modular, it can be easily built into a complex system to perform many tasks simultaneously. In seconds, it can do what would take several minutes with manual processes, and can check the quality of this assembly process as it takes place.
