SC11 Stripper Option

Developed by Mecal as an extra module, which can be bought with, or added to, any Mecal bench press, such as the TT or P107. This gives a quick and accurate method of stripping the inner wires of multicore cables, and ensures accurate placement of the wire end in the crimp. This pneumatically operated stripper has a PLC controller, and integrates with a Mecal press to give a reliable and cost effective Stripper/Crimper solution. The operator simply inserts a wire end into the stripper unit, a low-force sensor triggers the entire process which completes automatically.

The configuration of the SC11 means that almost any standard mini-applicator can be used with it. The SC11 will work with side or rear feed applicators. Various grippers and blades are available for unusual applications. The SC11 features a single-step mode for easy set-up, quick adjustment of strip length and wire insertion in the crimp.
