The Kappa 240 automatic cut and strip machine gives quick job changeover, with high levels of flexibility and programmable operation. This is a powerful machine, capable of processing cables up to 95mm2 and 30mm diameter. The swivelling stripping blades can process a wide range of cable sizes without need to change blades, and the optional pneumatic cutting head can deal with very heavy cables. An optional slitting head can be fitted to slit the insulation along a programmed length. Alternatively, it can be configured to slit the insulation along a programmed length.

The machine has a large LCD display, which gives a clear and informative user interface. Up to 150 jobs can be programmed into the machine's memory, each one containing all job parameters such as cut length, strip length, blade settings, feed and strip speeds, and even roller pressure and roller gap.

A PC interface, which gives virtually unlimited program storage when used with Komax Kappa-Win software. This gives minimal job changeover times, when combined with quick-release guides and easily changed blades. Kappa-Win software also gives a totally programmable, integrated cable marking system when using a Kappa 240 in conjunction with a Komax Inkjet Printer.

As standard, the Kappa 240 has programmable interfaces to control accessories such as wire markers and coilers. An integrated length check system can be fitted to ensure accuracy of very long cables.
