The Alpha 455 designed for Automotive and high volume, high quality, high mix applications. Uniquely the Alpha 455 has two mounted crimping presses each with a turntable, which has three-applicator mounting positions. Whilst the machine is running the other four applicator positions can be pre-configured with new tools and terminals. At the end of a job run, it automatically rotates the next required applicators in to position, a second wire source is engaged and the wire guide tube is automatically changed. Producing a single crimp the machine checks 'crimp-height' and even 'pull force' as well as recording the 'crimp force signature'. In just a few seconds production of the next job can begin. With wires up to 6mm2 it can Crimp, Double-crimp, and Double End Seal. Using Komax's standard user interface software package 'Topwin' ensures easy operation making the Alpha 455 the ultimate solution for high volume high quality, high mix lead manufacturing.
